California man who spent 39 years in prison gets $21 million for wrongful conviction

No mention of whether the original case will be re-investigated now. They have dna from the scene. If they had other suspects, then they will hopefully collect dna and test to see who really killed the woman and child. These cases where people are freed after wrongful convictions are wonderful. But it seems like the original victims end up being forgotten when the wrongfully convicted are found to not be the right suspects.
