Yeah most people I work with either think I’m a weirdo or that I’m trying to get away with a murder. But then again, they’ll only hear bits and pieces of my podcasts, and it always seems to be the worst parts.
The two reasons I like true crime so much is because:
I like puzzles and mysteries
I like justice
So to answer your question, people fear what they don’t understand. And I think a lot of people don’t understand or don’t want to understand murder, so they label all that stuff associated with it and the people who listen to it or watch it as sick or weird or creepy.
